To this date I still can’t believe I was fortunate enough to shoot the original Team Burst drivers on their natural soil being Meihan Sports Land. Here are a few more images of them riding the wall.

If you look closely you will see more than 1 car. Talk about proximity.

TJ’s PS13 continued…

Todd Waldons PS13

October 18th, 2011

So with my site filling your minds with content from Japan I wanted to take this moment to share with you an image of a car that built and shot in Australia. From recent posts in Japan you might remember the name Todd Waldon or TJ, well this is his PS13. Fortunately enough I was able to shoot the car before it got sold to someone down south. Now, the car has been repainted white, raised and look nothing like it does in this shot. This, without a doubt was in its prime, exactly how TJ wanted it. This was taken an hour and a bit west of Brisbane on a long dirt road with kangaroo signs lining the sides, quite Australian yes? There has been no car built quite like this in Australia and that’s exactly why it was such a big hit to the community. I commend Todd on building such an aggressive and stanced s-chassis, it definitely needs to happen more. Over the next week or so I will be putting more images up, for now enjoy this one! x

C33 Laurel on 15″ SSR Mesh

October 17th, 2011

I spotted this C33 Laurel at the first Meihan Track day I attended back in April. I’ve always had a huge crush on 4 doors with 15″ wheels whether they be flush or not. Unfortunately this combo isn’t very popular in Australia as the car has to be quite low for it to look right. This C33 looked absolutely awesome on 15’s and a very aggressive SR20DET to match.

So what are they? SSR Mesh, so 90’s.

The Perfect Vantage Point

The perfect vantage point: Standing next to Yuu-san watching the high-speed entries at Meihan Sports Land. Life was good.

EF @ Meihan

October 13th, 2011

If you liked the posts of this EF Civic in the past, keep reading. I’ve dug up another one of it smashing around Meihan. I really can’t get enough of this car, looking back I regret not taking any footage. If only I could interpret how amazing it sounded over an image. To get a closer look in and around this car be sure to click here.

Lookking AE86 @ Meihan

October 12th, 2011

The first time I saw The Lookking AE86 I couldn’t believe my eyes, it was one of those moments you literally thought you’d come across. The car is  driven by Asayan…

…with a very healthy 4-AGE pushing 190ps.
