As promised, more images from the Supermade cars – Nissan Gloria and of course the S15 Silvia. This photo above is probably one of my favourites from my whole trip to Osaka. I kindly asked the fellow decked out in a Supermade jacket and parachute pants if he’d like to get a photo with the car and he agreed. These type of photos remind me of the Dori Ten styled images with the Japanese pointing to specific parts on their cars pulling stupid faces, however this one was a little more casual.

The day we visited Supermade Takanori-san agreed to park the S15 out the back for me to feature, here is a little teaser on what’s to come very soon. So, I have to ask, what would you prefer? The 4 door Nissan Gloria or the S15 Silvia?

During our visit to Supermade, Yoshida-san was kind enough to park the car out the back of the workshop in the middle of the car park to get some static shots. I will of course be posting these photos but I thought I’d show you this one first. Shane Bingham opted for this style of photo with Yoshida-san in front of his S15 on the phone, like he always is. Stay tuned x

Prior to visiting Japan the amount of time I spent on the internet every day browsing through media on cars that I admired was ridiculous. I never thought the day would come where I would even get a singular photo of the cars I love that much but little did I know I was in for a shock when I landed on Japanese soil. This is why I love Japan so much, the two times I have been nothing but unbelievable experiences have come to the surface. Here I was at Meihan Sports Land on a gorgeous Spring afternoon all alone with this.

After a huge day shooting around 30gb’s of photos from the Wreck `Em day at Meihan Sports Land I thought it would be a good opportunity to speak up and ask a few drivers if I could do some individual photos on the circuit as the sun was setting. The two drivers I spoke to were Jesse Streeter and Takanori Yoshida from Supermade via Shane Bingham. As you may know I featured Jesse’s PS13 which was on Speedhunters a little while ago. What you don’t know is that I also got some time one on one with the SR20DET powered Nissan Gloria. To be completely honest I had no longer than 10-15 minutes to shoot both cars as well as I could. Firstly, I shot Jesse’s followed by this lovely 4 door and what a setting it was.

Takanori Yoshida – the owner of Supermade dropped into Meihan Sports Land just after lunch to do 2 laps to prove what the Gloria was capable of. Sitting in the pits it might look like a big VIP 4 door sedan but this thing really churns the rear tires with no problems at all. Without knowing it was on the track I managed to run to the wall and snap this photo of him exiting the hairpin off the front straight which was definitely worthy of posting. I still have a lot more photos from this little shoot at sunset so stay tuned and keep and eye out for updates on our Facebook Page.

Black and white works… sometimes.

When I posted this yesterday, I simply asked for your opinion on which you prefer – Old or the Newer style of Supermade cars, surprisingly a greater percentage preferred the older style. As a result of this it was a perfect excuse to post up this photo of the 2 Supermade s-chassis battling it out at Meihan. Tomorrow we will be starting something new on the blog, from now on every Wednesday there will be a few new Desktops added to the site, stay tuned.

These two photos were taken on the same day @ Meihan Sports Land. I thought it would be a good idea to get you guys a bit more involved with the site. Cast your vote by commenting what you prefer – Old School PS13 on AVS Model 5’s or the below image of the 2011 S15 sitting on Work CR01’s. I’m looking forward to hearing your response.

I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off Monday morning with a shot of the Nissan Gloria built from Supermade.

I can’t believe I haven’t posted any photos of the ever so famous Supermade D1GP Onevia until now. Witnessing the S15 and the Gloria at Meihan was unreal until this guy rolled in, it really put the icing on the cake. The car is so well presented, yeah there are huge fender gaps and the wheels and the guards haven’t been crafted around the wheels but hey the car performs unbelievably well and looks stunning!

I thought now would be a good time to post this rear shot of the Supermade S15 just because it’s Friday and everyone has more of a reason to smile. This is one of those cars that you will glance at forever on the internet, but for some, like me I was fortunate enough to not only see this S15 but to meet the man behind it all, Takanori Yoshida from Supermade. I’m really looking forward to releasing the features with Dino on the S15 and the Gloria, stay tuned.

As promised a photo of the Supermade S15 rolling into Meihan on it’s new 15″ Work CR01’s. It looks a lot different in comparison to the Work Equip 03’s but definitely a fan of both. I can’t stop looking at this car and will be posting loads more photos of it over the next few months. Myself and Dino will also be featuring this S15 and the Y34 Cedric so keep an eye out.
