岡山 ピーチボーイズ

If you follow us on Instagram, you would have seen an upload last night of the Okayama Peach Boys in the queue for Hellaflush at Central Circuit back in May. I don’t think I’ve uploaded any photos of these guys yet on the site so here is one for now while I round up some others to add to the blog. I think I’m going to have a leave a few of these out for the 2013 calendar however plenty more will be added in the next few weeks! x

南 エビス サーキット

September 4th, 2012

If you’re a into cars, or into the Japanese car culture I should say you would probably agree with me when I say that nothing can top watching the sun fade behind mountain ranges, watching cars slide some of the best drift circuits in the world.

I’ve seen some pretty interesting driving on the Minami course at Ebisu. Although nothing can compare to the skill that runs through the hands of this driver. Yes, the banged up, rusty, bent, mismatched C33 Laurel. Back in 2010 I was fortunate enough to see this guy drive Ebisu. I believe the car used to be super pristine on 15″ wheels and a full body kit. Nowadays it’s a little different. The car is driven by a Tomei crate SR motor and doesn’t skip a beat! We spent our 1 day at Spring Matsuri walking around the Minami course watching drivers like this and Daigo-San going mental. Can’t wait to get back! x

Black Limited

September 4th, 2012

I don’t think I’ve posted a photo of this Black Limited beauty on the site before so is one. I found this car smashing around Nikko Circuit a few months back during the SSRA / Spirant ソウコウカイ day. Extremely rare to find one of these chassis, let alone coming onto boost down the back section of Nikko! x

Bosozoku Bikes

Judging my past experiences, whenever there is a meet up of cars whether it was at a large PA or on the street or even conbennie these dudes will be there making the atmosphere that little bit more exciting. I’ve only ever seen a huge number of them riding together back in 2010 when around 300+ rolled into Daikoku PA. Apart from that I’ve only ever seen around 10-30 of them at once, which is still an experience in itself! I couldn’t even begin to imagine how rowdy these guys were a few decades ago. x

I miss things

September 2nd, 2012

The worst possible thing about travelling to Japan or any overseas destination for that matter is having to depart and head home. It has been 9.4 weeks since I left from my journey that went on for around 2 months. When I look back on that, it is pretty crazy the lengths I went to, to be able to afford and do what I actually wanted to. Travelling to Japan a few times before I can safely say my last trip was the best experience yet. I could almost say I was there for just the right amount of time to start realising how things actually flow. There is so much to learn and see apart from that mind-blowingly awesome car culture that lies beneath. Writing this and searching through my archives on a daily basis to update the blog for all of you gives me more and more motivation to save up and plan another spectacular trip early next year. The constant days of reading through the most recent issue of Doriten and planning and scheduling the weeks. The variety of events, meets and shows was just perfect.

There are still a stupid amount of photos to show you all so sit tight and keep refreshing for daily updates. Also I hope you’re looking forward to the Shirtstuckedin 2013 Automotive Calendar as much as I am. Casey x
