D1GP奥伊吹

October 13th, 2021

the most recent double-rounds 7 & 8 of this years 2021 D1GP series once again held at okuibuki ski-resort in shiga prefecture, kansai 2 weekends ago here in japan. post tsukuba 2000 (last 2 rounds) the following round was planned to be ran and held at ebisu circuit, minami course however due to a little spike in covid cases it was postponed until late november therefore we were back at okuibuki in no time.

there are only 4 rounds left of 2021 both being doubles. end of october at autopolis and then late next month at minami circuit, ebisu. it has been an absolute blast shooting this years season and very excited for the last 2 courses especially as the weather is starting to shift over here dramatically.

a very large congratulations to nakamura naoki and the team for coming 1st for both rounds on saturday, sunday and placing 1st in top qualifier on sunday also. an absolute humbling and pleasure of an experience to be apart of such a determined and talented team. as usual here are some selects over the course of 2 days, just under 100 or so images constantly waiting for the sunsets as you can probably tell by looking at these.

we have a very large number of exciting new and re-vamped products still in the works will be 100% released well before christmas this year, potentially from halloween onwards. your support, patience and following is always appreciated.

biggest loveeee. caseyy x

MEIHAN SPORTSLAND

September 28th, 2021

first time back in the 3037 car since this years kansai all stars. ROWDY RACING free running practice day with friends. in the video we drive the regular meihan way and also a lot of reverse which was the first time in 100% dry weather – can’t even begin to explain how much fun it is.

purchased a new c clamp mount that attaches to the rollbar inside the car so the view is a little lower helping expose the outside of the car so the circuit is more visible. there is a bunch of different footage inside this video along with my regular in-car. filming almost every session from mid morning until the end of the day means this is quite a long video so sit back and enjoy what i call the funnest meihan days possible. post kansai all stars, minimal entrants with a bunch of friends and unlimited driving time.

unfortunately the day ended with a blown engine due to some fuel, overboosting issues which has been a little struggle since the new setup got put into the car, thinking of some ideas to get straight into hopefully very soon. thank you to macey, ryota, jane velvet, ueda for the extra footage. really cool to have more than just an in-car perspective. loveee x

MEIHAN SPORTSLAND D-COURSE

September 14th, 2021

since kansai all stars it has been reasonably quiet on the driving front over here in japan. as usual the lead up to kansai all stars every year is very full-on for all participants and garages involved so it is very common to have some down time post the event.

fast forwarding a month last event nakamura naoki, his son nakamura ryuu, aki fujio & friends had a very small, intimate and rainy day at meihan d course. a little day to give the next generation some time to practice and get some seat time and drive with some of the best.

below are a few photos i took over a 20 or so minute period, rain was pretty full on. i have also put together an 8 minute RAW POV onboard video from my little action cam on youtube in which i will embed into this post also. be sure to check it out – naoki and his son properly driving together for the first time which was amazing to watch and capture. PS if you want to see any photos larger just right click and open in new tab – have laid them out this way as there are a few in this post.

big love, always. caseyyy x

KANSAI ALL STARS

August 20th, 2021

a few weeks have passed since the last little update from the 3037 S13 getting completely put under the knife at garage REMS. skipping ahead this is an update with a fair few updates in one.

over the past 5-6 weeks the 3037 car has undergone a lot of changes both mechanically and cosmetically purely to enter kansai all stars 2021 in a well presented car, finally. this year is my 3rd year in a row and really wanted to ensure that the car wasn’t looking like it was in previous years. the majority of kansai drivers will do a refresh and makeover once a year and this is the event that is high priority.

after qualifying for nara prefecture this year ( 2 weeks prior ) it was basically go time at N-Style to get the car completely pulled down, cleaner parts such as doors installed and brand new aero from D-MAX in osaka all to be prepped for a candy lick of paint. i have owned this car a little over 3 years now and i feel like this was the perfect time to make the car exactly how it has turned out. the majority of kansai & meihan drivers usually tend to practice and put their budgets towards seat time and non stop maintenance rather than appearances so this is the same mentality i have tried to adopt since buying this car and attempting to get up the ladder at meihan c course. i feel like it would have been a little waste of time and money to buy the car and jump straight into making it pretty without getting to know the car let alone driving meihan.

the car’s rear end got completely cut off and pipe-framed thanks to waki-san at gagare REMS in kagawa over in tokushima. a fuel setup, cooler was also installed along with a GP SPORTS water sprayer kit and TRUST greddy larger oil pan to compensate temperatures for japanese summers. kansai all stars is usually the peak of summer here in japan (obon holiday week) so you have to prepare the car for extremely hot and muggy conditions. cleaner doors were put on and a full D-MAX type 3 aero kit including a brand new carbon bonnet put on the car, as soon as i purchased this car this was always the plan and choice i wanted to go with. i have some very rare wheels stored away which will also be going on the car at a later date but more on that stage soon!

below are a bunch of photos from getting the car stripped, prepped & painted. the lead up to kansai all stars and the event itself. the weather has been extremely horrible the last 2 weeks straight however the sun managed to come out this morning for the first time so i rolled the car out for 20 minutes and took a few photos with my camera along with seeing the candy paint in the sun for the first time. it’s hard to believe it’s the same car but couldn’t be happier i have given this car more life potentially!

at the bottom of this post i have added a little youtube video from the event itself that macey shot off his phone for me – thank you brother.

this years kansai all stars i made it through the 1st 2nd and 3rd rounds of qualifying advancing into the tournament which this year was my goal. top 12 was against kikutani in the grey S15 which i came out on top going through to the top 8. kitayama in the orange 180SX from kyoto managed to do a better run knocking me out which placed me 6th overall in expert which definitely didn’t feel real! i will try my best to get 1st 2nd or 3rd next year and get on the podium for all stars!

a very large thank you to all of those who are newly onboard as supports to myself and SHIRTSTUCKEDIN. i say this quite often but if it wasn’t for these companies and people below none of this would be possible.

3037 REVIVAL

July 27th, 2021

a couple of weeks ago the 3037 car was booked in to be taken out to kagawa over on the island of shikoku to garage REMS. i have owned this car over 3 years now and have put majority of the money and budget into attending practice and competition days. this year however i feel like it’s the right time to give the car a new life.

the car is undergoing a lot of maintenance, panel beating and overhauling certain parts that have gotten old and tired and on the verge of causing a lot of damage. garage REMS used to be one of Naoki’s biggest sponsors and supporters back in his early days of driving, panel beating, maintenance and car setting on his blue DMAX cars well over a decade ago. he rear end of the car is going to be completely cut off and a one off pipe frame rear end to be constructed and welded onto the body, along with a fuel cell.

i have definitely gotten used to the look of this car and screwing whatever aero gets passed between one another however now that the process has started i’m beyond excited to get this car to a proper level and look to represent driving, people who support me and of course SHIRTSTUCKEDIN. more updates in the coming days. big love always, continue to stay positive and healthy caseyy xx

D1GP TSUKUBA CIRCUIT

July 5th, 2021

D1GP tsukuba circuit – 2000 course. rounds 3 & 4 held last weekend.

a course that is very well known around the globe and goes back to the early gran turismo days a kid. such a pleasure to be able to attend such event and have the privilege to shoot this course. being there in person definitely makes you appreciate the speed of this place compared to watching it live on youtube.

next round is ebisu (minami course) late august which is only around the corner and looking forward to it very much however the heat is forecast to be extreme. for now, here is what i saw at D1 tsukuba. as always enjoyy. caseyy x

MEIHAN PRACTICE

July 2nd, 2021

mid week practice at meihan sports land c course. a tricky day with extremely indecisive weather starting off sunny, full wet, half wet, wet, half wet then dry to conclude. this course is difficult enough in the dry let alone multiple conditions in one day. for the past 3 years of owning this car i have relentlessly kept the wing on however with super high grip tires lately i feel like i’ve definitely been struggling to get the snap and feint where it needs to be. in the final session of this day i took it off and lowered the pressures quite a lot in which made a huge difference.

here is a really short video i’ve put together as it’s better than nothing. first run is with a wing earlyish in the day followed by the last session around 4PM with extremely worn tires and no wing. car is still feeling magic just need more practice as the car is now to build some more confidence and consistency x

this is the official announcement for the SHIRTSTUCKEDIN X Nardi Personal collaboration steering wheels.

approximately 4-5 years ago I set myself a little goal of going down the path of creating steering wheels for the company however the vision of that was extremely unrealistic at the time as I was very narrow-minded and determined to only work with one specific company in making these become a physical reality – Nardi Personal. from my first car over a decade ago this particular branded steering wheel has always been a staple in each of my cars. prior to this the thought of a company to this scale and quality would be extinct within my thoughts however I personally think it is really important to dream as big as you possibly can and never let go of those particular thoughts because one day they will come true.

after a lot of time, conversing and sampling here we are. we present to you SHIRTSTUCKEDIN X Nardi Personal steering wheel collaboration. one size – 340mm classic nardi steering wheels with their smoothen, regular leather. 2 color variants – silver centre with silver parallel stitching and SHIRTSTUCKEDIN logos. black centre with one-off yellow parallel stitching, engraved nardi logo, SHIRTSTUCKEDIN logo and horn

these will golive on the site this coming Sunday 9PM PST & Monday 2PM AEST for pre-orders only, they will take 8-12 weeks to produce and we are required to have a specific number of steering wheels for both variants to be able to go ahead with these to make them a reality and get them in your hands. biggest of love to each and every single one of you for your following, daily messages and support. caseyy x
